Die monatliche Docetaxel-Monotherapie ist das First-Line-Regime, das vorzugsweise bei metastasierendem extramammärem Morbus Paget angewendet wird. Die Autoren der retrospektiven Fallserie schlagen vor, dass eine wöchentliche Docetaxel-Monotherapie (25 mg/qm) eine nützliche Alternative mit geringer hämatologischer Toxizität sein könnte.
